Last few days in Florida

The last few days of our Florida vacation have produced a few more notable birds, even though birding has been relegated to an incidental activity most of the time.

Highlights included a Royal Tern, several Magnificent Frigatebirds, both White and Brown Pelicans and a Spotted Sandpiper around Palm City; a stunning male Baltimore Oriole in the garden in Kissimmee; finally another trip to the Disney Wilderness Preserve produced several singing Eastern Meadowlarks two American Kestrels, a Peregrine Falcon and a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker.
