Quiet morning on the patch  with only a few winter visitors in evidence: two
Taiga and two
Asian Brown Flies, one
Brown Shrike, two
Black-naped Orioles and a single
Radde's Warbler. Of the five or so
Pond Herons seen all were
Chinese in varying degrees of summer dress. The only other notables were a couple of
Asian Barred Owlets and brief views of a
 Yellow Bittern.
