Eastern Crowned Warblers

Whilst I am supposed to be on self-imposed lock down to finish my Masters, I decided a walk in the Suan Rot Fai would be a welcome reward after a busy week.

Migration is in full swing with passage migrants including 3-4 Eastern Crowned Warblers, one Arctic Warbler (a very dull bird and rather confusing as it lacked any sign of wing bars), three Brown Shrikes, two Asian Brown Flycatchers, three Blue-tailed Bee-eaters and one Common Kingfisher.

Mountain Peacock-pheasant photos

I am still welded to my desk with the hell that is Masters project writing, so no birding for me for another month.  However, I just saw this link to some amazing images of Mountain Peacock-pheasants in Malaysia (Cameron Highlands?) which really needs to be shared.Actually when viewing this image you can keep pressing the "next" button at the top of the page to see some more breathtaking images of Malaysian forest birds.
